This application controls the message traffic that is generated from flora2000 servers.
In Flora2000 messages can be generated in many different formats.
These can then be sent via fax, e-mail and SMS, or other more specific data communications protocols (EDI, XML, SOAP etc.).
Com2000 takes care of these messages in an orderly manner.
The messages are provided with the correct address then inserted in the mailing list with the desired time of transmission. The user can view and maintain this list on screen.
This list also shows the status of the message.
For example, a fax can indicate how often and at what interval there may be tried tried again when a fax cannot be sent (busy, out of paper, etc.).
If after the desired number of repeats the message has not been delivered, it is clearly indicated in the overview. The user can easily indicate whether a new series of attempts should take place, or the message should be deleted.
For e-mail and other forms of communication the same procedures are followed. It is obvious that the quality of status information is highly dependent on the chosen form of communication. Thus, for example when using e-mail it is difficult to determine whether the message was actually received by the addressee, unless agreements are made in advance.
